The benefits of Big Data are often spoken of in the future tense. As in, physician “Big Data will someday provide enterprises of all types critical insights that allow for increased profitability, physiotherapist improved efficiency and other untold riches.†Big data isn’t something new though. It’s a new term for something the big companies have been doing for years. It’s here and now for the rest of us – delivering on its many promises.
