The Wall Street Journal, in a story today said that Apple will be releasing a new iPhone this summer. The latest iPhone allegedly supports the CDMA technology which is used by Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel Corp. and a handful of cellular operators in countries including South Korea and Japan. AT&T, along with a number of other cellular service providers use the GSM technologies. To me this move supports the rumors that have been flying around for months about Apple either dropping AT&T or expanding to other carrier.
